Terms of Service
Last updated August 7, 2026
Agreement
By creating an account or using the Plans app or website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Plans. [Legal entity name to be added once the company is formally established.]
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Plans. One account per person — don't create accounts on behalf of others without their permission.
Content you create
You own what you create on Plans — Stories, Guides, plans, and anything else you post. By posting it, you give us a license to display, distribute, and promote it as part of running the service (for example, showing your Guide to other users, or featuring your Story on the homepage). You're responsible for making sure what you post is accurate and that you have the right to post it.
Content published through our Plans Author program is reviewed before publication, but we don't independently verify every fact, hour, or claim — if something's wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Plans to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone
- Post false information as if it were verified fact
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or bulk-extract data from the platform
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or account restrictions
- Use the platform for anything illegal
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Subscriptions and billing
Plans Plus and Plans Host are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe (web) or the App Store (iOS), depending on where you subscribed. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime — on the web, through your Stripe billing portal; on iOS, through your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.
Pia, our AI assistant
Pia is a tool to help you plan, not a source of guaranteed-accurate information. AI responses can be wrong. Use your own judgment, especially for anything involving safety, health, or money.
Disclaimer
Plans is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep event times, hours, and prices accurate, but third-party information (like ticketing and venue data) can change or be wrong. We're not responsible for losses from relying on information found through Plans.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Plans is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. [This section, along with governing law and dispute resolution below, needs real legal review before it's something to actually rely on.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [state/jurisdiction to be determined once the company is formally established], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Plans changes. We'll update the date above when we do. Continuing to use Plans after a change means you accept the updated terms.
