Who we are

Plans (“Plans,” “we,” “us”) operates the Plans mobile app and this website. This policy covers both. [Legal entity name and business address to be added once the company is formally established.]

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name and email address, from Apple, Google, or the email you sign in with
• Content you create — Stories, Guides, and plans you make on the platform
• Approximate location (city-level, from your IP address) to show you locally relevant events and guides — not precise GPS location, on the website
• Basic usage data (what pages you visit, what you click) to understand what's working

If you subscribe to Plans Plus or Plans Host, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number.

Pia, our AI assistant

When you talk to Pia, your messages are sent to our AI providers (OpenAI, and Anthropic as a backup) to generate a response. By default, conversations are used only to answer you in the moment and are not retained for training. If you explicitly opt in under Profile settings, some conversations may be used to improve Pia — this is off by default, and you can turn it off or delete everything already collected at any time from the same settings.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the services that make Plans work, and only what each one needs:

• Apple, Google — for sign-in
• Stripe — for subscription billing
• Resend — to send account and notification emails
• OpenAI, Anthropic — to power Pia
• Vercel — our hosting provider, which processes data as part of running the service

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in (functional, not tracking) and one small cookie that just marks whether you're signed in, so the site can show the right navigation. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can:

• Update your display name and preferences from Profile
• Delete your Pia training data at any time from Profile
• Request a copy of your data or full account deletion by contacting us (self-service account deletion is coming)

Children

Plans is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and change the date above.
